Thank you to those who have previously given memorabilia and artifacts to the Heritage Center. Through your generosity we have been able to provide interesting and informative displays for Scouts of every generation. We are always seeking additional memorabilia, artifacts, and documents to make our collection more complete. Our objective is to preserve Camp Yawgoog’s heritage so each new generation of Scouts will be exposed to its history, lore, and traditions. Please consider a gift of your own Camp Yawgoog memorabilia and artifacts so that together we can promote the heritage and values of Yawgoog.
During the past few Yawgoog Days we have generated much excitement and generated nice extra revenue with a Patch Sale held on Yawgoog Day. This revenue has gone into the general fund used give back to Camp Yawgoog. Please consider donating your box of old patches. Please see ARTIFACT DONATION FORM in this newsletter.
Thank you, Rich Greene!
Under the watchful eye and caring hand of Mr. Rich Greene, our beautiful Yawgoog Heritage Center has thrived and expanded. With Rich’s time and devotion it has become a fantastic tribute to the history and evolution of our beloved Camp Yawgoog. After a lifetime supporting the camp Rich has moved to New Mexico and has stepped down as curator of the center.
Thank you Rich for doing all that you have to create and develop this center and for the time and support you have given to Camp Yawgoog.
Looks good Steve!!
is that 100 year patch going to be offered for sale to alumni members?
